Learn your way around Air Hockey
Make Air Hockey your next activity in the game library. Score seven goals before the computer. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Look at what changes after your first action.
Move your paddle against a computer opponent and score through the opposite goal.
An idea for your next attempt
Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Use the example to check your reasoning.
The goal to keep in mind
Score seven goals before the computer. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Try to explain the aim in your own words.
How a round unfolds
- Start.
- Move your mallet within the lower half.
- Strike toward the upper goal.
- Goals reset the puck.
Controls
Mouse/touch movement or Left/Right controls. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Check any mode label before starting.
Learn from a sample situation
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Look for the relevant detail.
Watch out for this
You cannot move into the computer’s half. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
